Another day I didn’t keep my dad up at night. Another day I didn’t give my money to a drug dealer. Another day I’ll remember. Another day I didn’t disappoint myself. Another day I defied the odds. Another day I proved them all wrong. Another day above ground. Another day where I’m present in my own life. Another day getting closer to God. Another day I won’t regret. Another day where I can’t wait to start tomorrow.
